Set of 3 Wonderful Longchamp Oyster Plates made in France around 1930, Vintage Majolica Seafood Plate, French Ceramic Oyster Platter
Wonderful pure colors, Saturated burgundy color really brings out the details of the rope and basketweave design and the yellow shines like the sun, Not just beautiful! The elegance of the single color of the glaze makes these plates fabulous as decorative display objects.
These French Majolica Glazed Oyster Plates have all the necessary elements to enjoy of the freshly harvested oysters
Placed around the perimiter of each plate are the six scalloped shells for each oyster, in the center is a round basket for sauce, lemon, or butter for dipping.
The high gloss finish makes the plate easy to clean after using.
Each measures 24 cm/9.4" in diameter.
